-and a truly AWESOME number of generous volunteers all across the country!
What Do We Do?
We keep our community healthy!
We advocate for, serve, and have financial aid available to anyone who has ever held a participant pass at a Renaissance festival anywhere throughout the United States.
RESCU’s IMPACT STATEMENT
Since 2003, the RESCU Foundation has been a lifeline for the professionals and volunteers who bring Renaissance faires to life. As a national nonprofit, RESCU ensures that all participants have access to critical medical care, advocacy, and financial support in times of health and medical crisis.Since its founding, RESCU has provided grassroots medical crowdfunding, becoming widely recognized as a vital tool for crisis support by providing aid with dignity and discretion. RESCU goes beyond financial assistance by empowering our community through educational and preventive healthcare programs, access to affordable and no-cost healthcare resources, and mentorship in navigating a complex healthcare system. The impact is clear: millions of dollars in medical bill abatement, millions in direct aid, and countless lives changed. Without RESCU, a single medical emergency could mean the end of a career, financial devastation, or loss of access to care entirely. Instead, through our work, talented individuals remain healthy, resilient, and able to continue the artistry that enriches our culture and local economies across the nation. At RESCU, we believe that healthcare is a necessity, not a privilege. However, current systems are not always available to those in need. Until those systems change, we will continue to offer support, advocacy, and compassionate care for the people who make history come alive.

To Anyone and Everyone
who has ever been a part
of the heart of this organization—
THANK YOU!
