Nova Grayson Casillo primarily designs and constructs theatrical props. While earning their undergraduate degree in Design & Technical Theatre from SUNY Oswego, they began working at Sterling Renaissance Festival as Props Manager and Stage Manager (2016, 2017, 2020), and also worked at FlarF (2020). Since graduating in 2018, Nova has worked as a props designer in Montana, North Carolina, Florida, New York, Maryland, Missouri, & Illinois. More recently, some of Nova’s theatrical pursuits have also involved unicycling and clowning.
Nova has been involved with RESCU Foundation since 2018, starting with the Programs Committee. They additionally became one of the Communications & Creative Services Committee’s graphic designers. Nova joined the Board of Directors in December 2022, and is excited for the opportunity to give more time to this wonderful organization.
Nova also volunteers with Safe Space Cumberland, and enjoys collecting antiques and oddities, re-articulating skeletons, and fencing sabre in their free time.
